Mission Statement:
The Spirit Lake Nation Senior Service Program is an organization of the Tribal government whose intentions is to provide services to the enrolled members and Elderly of the Spirit Lake Nation.
Objectives:
To provide a well balances meal that meets 1/3 RDA to the Spirit Lake members who are 60 and older both in congregate settings and through a system of home delivery, five days a week.
To provide information and referral services to the Spirit Lake community members in order to assist in accessing and identifying available resources to meet the Spirit Lake community needs.
What we Provide:
Deliver meals to the elders and elderly centers Monday thru Friday Meal Calendar
Tribal Home Visitor goes out into to the community and seeks out what is needed by each elder visited.
Activities at the Elderly Centers for the Elders
Elder Advisory Board meets every Third Thursday at 1pm, Blue Building
Elders Day Out the last Monday of the month
